Week 22

It was during this week that my cousin had his funeral service. It was an odd experience, waiting such a long period between accident, to death, to funeral – causing the incident to loom over me for an extended period. I feel that now I can start working on getting back to my usual efficiency, though currently still feeling the loss at this time.

During the week, I created a proposal form for the FMP where I was able to further explore the project concept, develop a rationale for its success, and organising my methods of evaluation for the project. I’ve also started working on a pitch presentation alongside the Director of Photography in preparation for the coming weeks.

We’ve hit our first major issue with the project when 2 of our members left spontaneously. Their leaving, though sudden, was based on situations outside of college and has forced me to reevaluate role/responsibility delegation within the now smaller group. I will be taking on a producing capacity, and the behind-the-scenes will now need to be considered in advance as we no longer have someone dedicated to that aspect.

I took some time over this week to reflect on some older photos and taking some new ones too – editing them lightly as well. I’d like to continue dedicating more time to photography moving forward, seizing any good opportunities as I find them. Below are the pictures I worked on over this week:
