Week 21

During this week, I had an amazing opportunity to speak with industry professionals who came into the college to showcase a new project they’d finished. They provided helpful tips and information on the world of media past college, and allowed for me to take a variety of notes regarding techniques and principles for in front of and behind the camera.

I also had an opportunity to record my first video CVs for people within the YMCA. This involved working within a small team to capture the audio, two different angles and a clear picture of the candidate within in a short period to then edit together and produce a 60-90 second-long interview. This is to add towards our work experience hours and then to be edited in the following week.

This week marks the official start of the FMP creation process, with us starting to look at our rationale and general concept proposals. I had been working on this project idea on and off over the last couple of months which has given me the opportunity to get ahead in a few areas of the FMP such as scripting and storyboarding.
